NBCOlympics.com will webcast the morning prelim sessions live from the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Omaha, Neb. Olympic gold medalist and former National Team captain Josh Davis will be the commentator. The webcasts begin Sunday and will air each day of Trials starting at 11 a.m. Central Time.
As is part of the show's set up, Tara had to turn over her old wardrobe, shop for a new one with $5000. She also received a hair and makeup makeover.
Her friends teamed up with her sponsor, Bank of America, to surprise her with the opportunity. And while it interrupted her training leading up to last weekend's Santa Clara International, Tara spoke highly of the experience on her WCSN blog.
No air date for the episode has been set, but one would imagine that it will air before the Olympic Games in early August.
The psych sheet for this weekend's Santa Clara International is now available.
The majority of Swim Stars covered here will be making the trip to Santa Clara for this competition.
The meet begins at 4:00 PM Thursday with the preliminary heats of the women's 800 Free and men's 1500 Free. Friday through Sunday, prelims start at 9AM and finals commence at 5PM.
All session passes are available for $25, while individual prelim sessions cost $4 and finals $8.
